HUGE PRIZE FOR THE WINNERS!
HIDDEN EASTER EGGS TO FIND DURING THE WALK
You will be pleased to hear that The Village Hall Committee has not been completely idle during lockdown, despite rumours to the contrary.
We have come up with the idea of an activity “family bubbles” can all enjoy over the Easter weekend – between Saturday 3rd April and Easter Monday 5th April – involving both Upper and Lower Froyle. We are organising a prize-winning quiz, which will take the form of a walk through one or other (or both) villages. Each walk should take less than one hour. But NB these walks are NOT suitable for pushchairs – please ensure you wear suitable footwear/boots.
And along the way there will be:
- Questions to answer;
- Observations to record;
- Easter eggs to find;
- And afterwards (for the younger ones) a drawing/painting to draw or paint.
ACCOMPANYING THE APRIL MAGAZINE IS A LEAFLET CONTAINING THE QUESTIONS.
Alternatively, you can download it from the Village Hall website
- You will need a pencil and pad to record your answers;
- You will find the directions for both walks within the body of the questions and you can begin anywhere. But if in doubt, we suggest you start the Upper Froyle Quiz at Froyle Park at the entrance off Hen & Chicken Hill and the Lower Froyle one by the Village Hall;
- All answers can be obtained from the roadside or public paths – please do NOT venture onto private land at any time (other than the specific case noted where we have secured permission).
FURTHER DETAILS, INCLUDING HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ANSWERS AND DRAWING/PAINTING, ARE ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE LEAFLET
